Next year Ride With Pride will be celebrating it’s 15th anniversary.  We would like to request your help in identifying the “missing benefit” of Ride With Pride.  Complete the sentence, “Ride With Pride is…” and send us your ideas. The Board of Directors will choose the one response that they feel best describes the program, and the winner will receive a $25 gift certificate at Bit ‘N Bridle. 

The Virginia Horse Council has announced it’s Youth Art Contest, open to youth ages 5 to 18.  The subject matter is horses, mules, or donkeys and mediums are your choice of oil, pastel, pencil (including colored pencils), pen and ink, watercolor, acrylic, or charcoal. Entries are limited

to one per contestant and must have been completed between January 1, 2004 and March 31, 2005.  Entries must also be unframed and no larger than 18” x 24”. Entries must be postmarked no later than March 31, 2005.  For more information, contact Ride With Pride or the Virginia Horse Council.
